Morocco March 2010

Hallo Crew!

As everyone probably knows, our bikes and us are going to Morocco!

We are planning to take off on 1st of March from Gatwick Airport (exactly at noon). We land in Marrakech at 1525 local time. Aircraft will be Boeing 737-800 of Royal Air Morocco airlines.

In few days we will publish details about necessary gear and equipment for this trip.

Meanwhile, you may find interesting listening to Pat and Cat Patterson, a couple from Oxnard, California who spent four years riding their bicycles around the world. After riding through North America and Europe (what the Pattersons refer to as their “Training Ride”), Pat and Cat crossed by boat from Gibraltar, Spain and began their journey by bicycle through the Kingdom Of Morocco. For over an hour lasting interview about cycling in this country, please click here.

We hope that at this forum we will collect all the important informations about this and further journeys.

Feel free to comment and ask questions.

Bear in mind that we are going to cross mountain passes on quite high altitudes, so be prepared for cold nights. Every few days we will stay at hotels, so we will have access to washing machine and other stuff.
